The Sunflower Fields at the Experimental Farms

Each year in late July to early August, a portion of the Experimental Farm is overtaken by the most picturesque field of yellow sunflowers. This destination is a photographers dream and often sees flocks of people every year.

The Central Experimental Farm, commonly known as the Experimental Farm, is an agricultural facility, working farm, and research centre of the Research Branch of Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada. As the name indicates, this farm is centrally located in and now surrounded by the City of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.

Parking is available in the neighbourhoods nearby or at one of the farm's parking lots. In both cases, be prepared for a 5-10 minute walk.
